Victorian Ash
Victorian Ash is a species of hardwood that originates from Victoria (with its region extending into southern New South Wales). Its appearance can vary from a pale pink through to a yellow brown in colour. The timber is typically found straight grained and occasionally features gum vein and waviness.
In terms of staircases, Victorian Ash is an excellent choice if you are planning on staining or clear coating your project. It can be used for all components of staircase construction.
