Pencil Round Nosing

So called because it resembles a sideways pencil, this nosing has long been our most popular option. The lack of sharp edges creates a streamlined appearance down the length of the staircase; the treads almost blend into one another.

There are a number of things to keep in mind, including:

• A common choice for traditional staircases
• Can be left in its original timber but looks just as good when carpeted
• Protrudes slightly over the edge of the riser below
